Reviews
Very traditional place but very very slow, more than a hour waiting for the cone with fried seafood. The entire squares smells like fried oil, not very pleasant as well. The food was ok
Great Fresh Seafood!
This small take away has very fresh fish and the owner is happy and friendly as can be! We had a mix of prawn, octopus and squid, Fabulous! He serves it lightly fried in a paper cone with generous lemon wedges. Absolutely must try!
Delicious fried fish and paninis.
A bit expensive but worth it.
You can ask to change sauces from the menu they had in each panini if you dont like
The place is very traditional. Simple and delicious. Fresh fish, a nice service and delicious food. Also they got an option for vegetarians if you have a veggie friend and want to go there together :)
WOW!! Highly recommend! We had the mix fried seafood in a cone, and the Tonno crudo panino in focaccia bread. Extremely tasty!
First day in Tropea and my experience in this city can start only with onions. I have been at Koes in Tropea and tried their Cartoccio of Onion Rings. Unfortunately, it was not exceptional. The onion rings lacked flavor and were quite oily. Moreover, I found the overall cost to be on the higher side. 8 euro for 10 onion rings.
We came there relatively late, therefore the choice on the menu was limited. However, what we got was perfect mixture of different deep fried seafood which was topped with some kind of homemade gravy. All that together with ice cold beer is one of the best thing you can get in this town. YOU MUST VISIT IT!
It is fun to hear the staff screaming your name with mistakes 😂
I really don't know what makes this place so popular. We ordered bucket of sea food which was pretty expensive, someone told me it was half price back in the past, and in my opinion it should stay like that. Was let's say OK, but really nothing special that you dream of when hungry. 13 euro is the cost of normal lunch in the restaurant.
